My Project

In a Kindergarten to Second-grade Autistic Support classroom, my students have a wide variety of sensory needs. Sometimes, my students struggle to express their emotions and need an outlet for those emotions. Teaching coping skills and ways to calm down is essential for my students

These sensory needs have to be met within the classroom in order for my students to be successful in the classroom academically.

Meeting those needs requires modifications to the classroom environment to reach each student. These items will be beneficial in maintaining the sensory needs of my students in order for them to progress emotionally, mentally, and academically.
