My Project

I work with a number of students who are on the Autism Spectrum, have Intellectual Disability, and have ADHD. They often require extra help and redirection due to their different sensory needs. Many of them require fidgets, flexible seating, putty and other sensory materials in order to participate in activities effectively. These materials (flexible seating, fidgets, putty, and play doh) would allow me to provide multi sensory materials to help engage them in learning. It would allow me to adapt activities while incorporating each student's individual and unique sensory needs.
