My Project
My students don’t have a voice, so I’m helping them find it. Many of them respond really well to different sensory items. They enjoy texture, sounds and lights or even pressure. When I find something that is motivating to them, I can come up with ways to encourage them to communicate about it.
My goal is to have enough different sensory objects to address all of the senses.
The thing I love most about my students is being able to celebrate achievements with them. Even a small improvement is a reason to celebrate!
