My Project

Pre K classrooms that serve children with special needs require sensory materials, hands- on and visual learning tools to create an environment where students with Autism can thrive academically and socially. Sensory materials help regulate sensory input, reduce anxiety and improve focus, which is crucial for students who may experience sensory overload. sensory materials engage students in active, experimental learning, making abstract concepts more tangible and easier to understand. Visual aids further support comprehension by providing clear and concrete representations of information. Together these resources create a supportive and adaptable learning environment that accommodates diverse needs, fosters engagement, and enhances education success for students with Autism. Sometimes, children with special needs have a hard time with different food textures and only eat certain foods. These snacks are my students favorite foods.
