Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These items will be used in an Autism classroom to help them learn to regulate their bodies. They will also allow them the ability to access general education classroom and be with peers of their own age. The pocket chairs will help them keep all their schedules and items in one place fostering independence. My students come from all backgrounds and have diverse needs these materials help give equity to all by leveling the playing field. Along with emotional regulation these materials will help motivate my students to work their hardest and achieve their individual goals.
