Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our program is growing more and more every year, and we need more sensory and engaging materials to meet the needs of our students!

I work with a variety of wonderful, fun loving students with significant disabilities.

They love learning! However, they need lots of materials and sensory supports in order to learn to the best of their abilities!

The materials in this project will help us meet their sensory needs with the busy boards and sensory table! The cabinet will provide us with a safe place to store materials. The laminator will help us be able to create individualized materials to help our students learn, and will allow us to create icons, and activities that incorporate their culture, and the things they like!

The learning materials such as counting cookies, sticker puzzle by numbers and sensory paint will help us engage our students and help them with fine motor skills that they need to be successful!
