Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Young children learn best through sensory play. For this project, we are asking for a variety of materials including sensory trays, sand, touchy feely box, books, felt stories and more to help develop and peek students' curiosity. We believe these materials will allow children to explore learning letters, building, build social/emotional skills, develop language skills, learn letter sounds, engage in counting activities as well as number/shape recognition. All of these are essential for a preschool classroom.

We are hoping this project gets funded so that we can begin to incorporate these amazing materials in the classroom.
