My Project

All students want to do well in class. Because of Math being a subject where a great deal of problem-solving is needed, I want to provide the opportunity for my students to have sensory objects in their hands for them to comfortably do their independent work and build their skills while feeling soothed and relaxed in my classroom environment.

A multisensory learning approach will help students engage more than one sense at a time.

Involving the use of visual, auditory and kinesthetic-tactile pathways, a multisensory approach can enhance memory and ability to learn. This helps students with focusing and it also helps with self-esteem that they need.

The headphones are great for the kids that need to block out all other sounds so they can focus better on their own work and continue to practice Math skills without other distractions. This will enhance the learning environment for them.
