This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are low-income students with one or more disabilities. They have sensory needs that are met during their therapy sessions in order to improve attention to the task.

Participating in highly engaging activities encourages their language development and social skills.

They learn by sharing and doing. Students who do not like to write with traditional writing tools such as pencils and markers enjoy using paint markers as they glide smoothly over the paper. Working with writing tasks also helps them make the connection between spoken language and written language.
