My Project

I am an OT working in a public elementary school with many students with difficulty in sensory processing for learning. Difficulty in sensory process learning included staying seated in classroom, maintain work/ personal space, and responding appropriately to environment sounds and visuals.

I am requesting these materials to help build an awesome sensory integration obstacle course for my sensory seekers kids.

Materials included cognitive puzzles, tactile vestibular and proprioceptive kinesthetic learning/input, eye hand coordination, and fine motor skills all skills needed for greater success/independence in the classroom environment.

Studies has showed that maintaining the child's sensory processing/ regulation skills can improve their independence in activities of daily living, manipulating of classroom and daily activities materials and participating in school/classroom activities consistently.
