My Students

My students are creative, brave, helpful, thoughtful, persistent, confident, and joyful. They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances to grow both personally and academically. They are my inspiration!

Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly.

The different learning strategies, group work, and alternative seating and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are the joy of my life and I am very grateful and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

The mood mirrors will help make a difference to my students' learning by making them feel awesome about themselves. The mood mirror will give them an opportunity to help see the different expression on his/her face. Because of Covid-19 most of the students were unable to be in the classroom so having information and social emotional learning material will help kindergarten to transit to school.

It is very important for kindergarten to feel comfortable and safe at school.

No, they will not be used for learning from home. As they progress, they will be able to share and feel good about themselves, while making learning fun. The sensory sponge would give them a chance to relax while learning. The paint brush is also another way to let them explore different materials in school. This will enhance their self esteem but also for the future of their self-awareness.
