My Project

I am an adapted physical education teacher in the Bronx. I work with autistic students K-2. I work in a very underprivileged, low-income area where my students need more support.

I am trying to create a sensory gym for my early learners, and the beams, modified soft balls, and tunnels that I have requested will allow me to create that space for them!

I am creating a space for my students to learn how to play and function in a large open space rather than their skills and form. I want my early learners to learn about spatial and body awareness, social-emotional learning, and how to play with others.
