This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
As a special education teacher, I want to meet the needs of all students. We need blocks, Play-doh, sensory bottles, and more. These items can benefit my students in many ways. They can be used from centers during sensory time to utilizing them for coping skills. I plan to utilize these items during centers, morning bins, free time and throughout the day.
Sensory time is highly important in my classroom.
It’s a time in which we all get to learn in such a fun way. We can incorporate sensory during ELA, math, and social emotional learning. Thank you so much!
