Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As a special education teacher, I strive to create an environment that meets the diverse sensory and learning needs of my students. Many of my students benefit from hands-on, sensory-based activities that help them regulate emotions, improve fine motor skills, and enhance social interaction. These materials will not only enrich their sensory experiences but also provide meaningful opportunities for learning through play.

By donating to this project, you are helping provide my students with essential tools to grow, learn, and thrive in a safe and nurturing space.

The BISSELL Featherweight Vacuum will help keep our classroom clean after sensory play, ensuring a hygienic environment. The rainbow rice, kinetic sand, and sensory play sets will allow my students to explore textures, practice imaginative play, and develop motor coordination. Additionally, the STEM and flower building toys will foster creativity and teamwork while supporting cognitive development.
