My Project

These items will be used in our calm down room. This room is utilized by our special education students when experiencing stress, dysregulation, and emotional outbursts.

This room helps students with Autism, ADHD, and other disabilities regulate their emotions.

By utilizing the calm down room, our students can take a break from the regular school day in a safe space. Access to this room often prevents escalation and further issues. These students have many sensory needs that are not being met in our current room. Our students will benefit from having multiple seating options including bean bag chairs, bouncy seats, and cozy seating options.

Ms. Buchanan will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by May 30.
