Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Students come to school and are excited about learning new things everyday. My goal is to help my students achieve their goals and provide them a safe environment where they will be able to focus on learning. My classroom is composed of students with different backgrounds, special needs and learning styles.

While students come enthusiastic each day it is my duty to be able to provide them various ways in exploring new ideas.

With proper guidance my goal is for the students to become independent and to be able to find answers for themselves.

My Project

Flexible seating will help my students with autism by helping them focus. Instead of sitting on a regular chair they will be able to sit on a bounce chair that will help retain their focus on the task at hand. The sensory chair cushions will also help with retaining focus when students use them to sit on.

Organization bins will make it easy for students to find materials they need like crayons, pencils, scissors and glue by making it easily accessible.

Students will be able to walk up to the organizer and pick out what they are looking for when they need it.
