My Students

I'm a school-based occupational therapist that works with special needs students that are 3, 4, and 5 years old in the preschool setting. My kiddos complete school-based occupational therapy activities in order to improve the following skills: visual motor, fine motor, visual perception, social skills, and sensory processing skills.

My Project

Students will use these sensory bins, activities, and toys in therapy sessions and within the classroom to explore and learn through play.

Sensory bins and activities help students to explore and to learn about their environment through play while experiencing sights, sounds, smells, and the way things feel.

They include fun themes such as the beach (sand), outer space (rocks), and ocean (water beads).

The activities also allow the students to work on important fine motor skills and visual motor skills that they need in the preschool setting in order to participate and be successful within the classroom. Help my students develop their sensory systems for better learning!
