My Project

I currently teach in a preschool special education classroom with 8 students. Our students demonstrate a wide variety of strengths, abilities and developmental needs. Many of our students have been diagnosed with autism. The students age in range from 3-5 years old. Many of them exhibit sensory seeking behaviors. These are sweet kind students who are just learning how to self-regulate their bodies and figure out what they need to make it throught

Some of the items on this list we have we have been able to borrow temporarily and have shown to be helpful self-regulation.

One of our parents shared that the vibrating plate has been very effective for their child. We are hoping to get these materials and begin to build a collection that we can use for multiple years moving forward.
