This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me support my students' sensory needs! This project with help me assist students that have sensory challenges due to ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety. Children sometimes are unable to regulate their bodies and require something that can redirect them and help them engage in their academic activities. These items would provide children with a way for them to self-regulate and get their sensory needs met, while they complete their classroom assignments. It would also help them as a positive coping skill when they are feeling anxious and stressed and cannot find effective ways to de-escalate.
