My Project

My students are an amazing and diverse group of children who also have emotional dysregulation difficulties. Throughout the course of the day, some of my special education and general education students require a calm space during a crisis.

I would like to use the donations in my office as a teaching space to teach children how to utilize furniture and sensory items to manage strong emotions.

With the donations, I plan to teach self regulations and self management skills to all my students as well a create a safe space for them
