Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is full of amazing brilliant students. They are all special, creative, funny, smart, and caring. Those are just a few words to describe my students. They love learning and sharing their experiences with their friends. My students need and benefit from sensory and movement breaks throughout the day. They enjoy drawing, Play-Doh, Legos, and board games. My goal this year is to provide them with the tools and strategies they need to meet their academic and social goals.

My Project

Help me create sensory supports for home use! I want to teach my students to make their own at home sensory kits with water beards!

Calming Kits at home are necessity this year!

Students are spending more time at home so ensuring that they have materials to help them relax or get sensory input that we usually provide in school is important.

Learning to navigate their emotions is key this year! My students would benefit the light up disk to show how they are feeling through color. They will love that additional support!
