Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In the years since Covid-19, I have seen students less able to cope with the anxieties that accompany life in school, which is understandable when families were anxious about keeping their families safe. With these supplies, I hope to provide a calm, safe, and accepting environment in which students can wiggle, fidget, and learn coping mechanisms that will assist them in being successful in school and beyond. I am particularly the most excited about the sensory pathway supplies as this allows my students to take a break and recharge as they learn, especially those students that need a little extra movement in their day.
