This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

You can make a transformative difference in the lives of my students by giving them the tools they need to regulate their sensory needs and to be fully prepared to engage and succeed in speech therapy. Many of my students face unique challenges with sensory processing that affects their ability to focus, communicate, and actively participate in learning. With your support, we can provide them with resources that will make a world of difference in how they experience therapy and learning.

Your contribution will help us create a sensory-friendly environment where my students can thrive.

Items like hands-on manipulatives, replica animals, and sensory bin fillers are not just tools—they’re gateways to making learning exciting, engaging, and effective. These resources are key to developing essential speech and language skills, and they’ll help make therapy sessions more interactive and enjoyable for my students. By addressing their sensory needs, we can reduce anxiety, improve focus, and create a foundation for meaningful learning experiences.

Each tool purchased through your generosity will serve a dual purpose: supporting my students’ sensory regulation and fostering their language development. For example, sensory bin fillers can provide a calming tactile experience, while also being used to practice vocabulary and language concepts in a fun and motivating way. Replica animals, on the other hand, can be instrumental in creating real-world scenarios to improve communication skills.

When you donate, you’re not just providing supplies—you’re opening doors for my students to express themselves, connect with others, and overcome challenges with confidence. You’re helping them build the foundational skills they need to succeed, both in and beyond the classroom.
