Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We mainly need sensory toys or chairs for our students. Sometimes they struggle with their emotions because they don't know how to react when they are overstimulated. These items will go in the sensory room that I made for them to feel calm and be able to get back to class. Please help me create a space for our students to be comfortable and feel safe to regulate their emotions and limit negative behaviors in the school environment. We are trying to show our students their emotions are normal and give them tools to regulate their emotions.
