My Project

I want to create sensory calming corner to provide a peaceful and secure environment for my students with disability. It will equipped with calming elements such as beanbag, soft textures, gentle lighting, and sensory objects, puzzles offering a space where individuals can relax, decompress, and feel safe. My goal is to designated area where individuals can retreat to relax, regulate their emotions, and find a sense of calm. My students are special because they are non-verbal and exhibit behaviors, sometimes perceived as challenging, due to communication difficulties, sensory sensitivities, and social-emotional challenges, which are often associated with neurological differences or conditions like autism.
