My Project

Sometimes, we all need a break! Did you ever have a bad day and wished that you could have a few quiet moments to yourself? Elementary school students often feel the same way. In a busy classroom of 25-30 students, it can sometimes be noisy, bright, or overstimulating.

Having a sensory classroom filled with flexible seating like the chair rocker sling, fidget toys, and a sensory tent, as well as other items, will give our scholars a calming environment to relax, reduce stress, and regulate their behavior.

This stress-free area will be open to not just our three autistic classrooms but all of the scholars of our school, enabling them to relax and refresh their minds, thereby energizing them to learn and engage in their activities. Your contribution can help our children to become the leaders of tomorrow!
