This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This project aims to provide oral motor sensory input tools to help students with disabilities receive the sensory stimulation they need to improve their sensory processing. Many of these students struggle with issues like drooling and teeth grinding, which can interfere with their ability to focus and participate in learning activities. The tools we are requesting will help address these challenges by providing targeted sensory input that helps regulate these behaviors. With the right sensory support, students will be able to calm their bodies and minds, reducing distractions and improving their readiness to engage in the classroom. By meeting these sensory needs, students will be better prepared to learn, interact with their peers, and make progress in developing essential life skills. These tools will create a more comfortable and supportive learning environment, empowering students to thrive both academically and socially.
