Help me give my students items like bean bad seats, laminating pouches, classroom carpet, and fidget tubes for a safe space to find their calm and talk through their emotions whenever they need a break. Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I will be making materials for use by students and staff within pre-k special education classroom to support with behaviors, social skills, and communication.
My office is a safe space for students to come to discuss emotions and help them find their calm.
Materials like bean bad seats, Velcro, laminating pouches, classroom carpet, and fidget tubes will be used to allow students to connect, calm down, and work through behaviors and social emotional skills.
When students are having a hard time in their classes, my office is used to allow them a safe calm comfortable space to recenter and take a break while working on those very important social communication and behavior life skills.
