My Students

My classroom has many beautiful children that are living with special needs.

Many of our friends have sensory issues that require visual and kinesthetic materials to help them self calm.

These materials will ensure our friends are able to nurture their emotional well being. My students are very loving and deserve to have materials that will help them with their self-regulation needs. It is important for their emotional and sensory needs to be met so learning will also take place.

My Project

My students are a wonderful group of learners that vary in their abilities. I teach preschool students with varying exceptionalities. Many of these students have developmental delays. Many of my students have Autism and sensory processing disorders. These students require tactile materials to help them regain focus and self calm when they are on sensory overload.  Our current sensory toys have been loved and enjoyed until they have broken. Please consider donating these sturdy and very necessary items for my friends to enjoy. This would be a wonderful opportunity for those students that current have a need for sensory input towards their specific sensory diets. Without these tactile materials many of the students aren't given the sensory input necessary to help them stay focused and redirect emotional outbursts.
