My Project

These sensory bins will be used in my Pre-K classroom during Purposeful Play. Sensory bins are an amazing tool to help students explore the scientific process, develop language and vocabulary, and discover the concepts of texture, color, weight, balance, and size. Sensory bins also help students use their senses to explore, learn how to use tools, observe changes, and make mistakes.

Children learn best by actively participating and collaborating with peers.

Sensory bins can be an integral part of social-emotional learning. Sensory bins can empower children to become curious and competent investigators and foster a love for learning and a deeper understanding of the world around them.
