My Project

My second grade classroom is comprised of energetic, eager, and hardworking readers ready to discover the exciting world of chapter books!

My students are in need of access to a high volume of early chapter books in order to work on fluency & comprehension.

These books will help them master our essential literacy standards throughout the year. Books like, Mercy Watson, will help us describe a character's traits and identify the main story elements in a text. Books like, Peter and Ernesto: A Tale of Two Sloths, will help us identify differences in the perspectives of characters.
