Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

While racing against deadlines and working with seniors to finish this year's yearbook, we learned an important lesson: we need to invest in better technology. Our students are acquiring new digital skills faster than ever before, but our technology is too slow to keep up.

In our current educational context, there is nothing more meaningful than an authentic learning experience.

Our school's yearbook provides the perfect training ground for our students to practice their digital skills and bring their ideas into existence.

With this digital camera upgrade, my students will learn how to take quality photographs without their cell phones. With this adapter, we can share and transfer files quickly. And with this Macbook laptop upgrade, my students will be able to crop, edit, and enhance their images.

Students and staff alike always love and appreciate the yearbook. Let's give the yearbook club the opportunity to publish their best work!
