Senior Year Stress Relief

Help me give my students items to help reduce their stress. The bean bag chairs will provide a non-school chair to relax in and the fact that it kind of wraps around the waist makes it comforting.

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Senior year can be stressful for all students. These items will allow students to destress once they have completed an assignment. I would like to create an area in the classroom full of stress-relief items that will help improve their mental health. The goal is that they will feel comfortable and not as stressed as when they walked into the classroom. Many of them find coloring and journaling relaxing.

My students include those with special needs, college prep, and GATE students, all of whom could benefit from stress relief.
