This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students some goodie bags to help support them as they begin their exam weeks.

My students are in the International Baccalaureate Programme.

This means they are taking advanced level classes for almost all subjects. My students at minimum have four IB and AP classes. The English exam that I have been preparing them for will be the first of the exams. Help me to give them good luck bags to go along with the breakfast I will host during their morning exam.

The bags will include sanitary items for girls because the terror of getting your period in the middle of an exam should happen to nobody, snacks for when they are hungry right after or before the exam for a little sugar kick, and lots of sensory and affirmation items. This set of students in front of me is more nervous than my previous students. They shut down and they get in their heads. I want to prepare them with some sensory items to touch and help them refocus during exams. I also want to ensure that they have affirmations and reminders that they are worthy and kick the exam's butt!

Lastly, I want to make sure the students have pens and colored pens for annotations so they don't worry about finding those if they do not have them!
