My Students

My students are fifth graduate students half general and special ed. Fifth grade is an important grade because it is when they start to become individuals and really begin to think about who they want to become. They may not be ready to choose a career path, but are deciding if they are going to give it their all to do well in school, sports, and friendships. My students give it their all, all day, everyday! Technology helps me motivate them!

Unfortunately, our school receives very little funding for resources like technology and technology-related supplies.

We do the best we canto share among classes, but the continuous use of technology, daily, will help them become more proficient and motivated. Help me, help them.

My Project

Classroom's today look very different than a decade ago. Most assignments require collaboration with others using digital platforms such as Google Classroom and require the use of digital resources and Internet search engines. Although technology is a great means of engagement and collaboration, many students do not have access to computers at home which as proven a challenge over the past few years. In order for these students to be able to engage in assigned work and collaborate on assignments with peers and provide and receive feedback, they need access to technology at school and at home.

With your support, my students without computers at home can equally engage in academic endeavors and collaborative experiences in the same way as their peers with technology.
