My Project

Self-Love Club!

An idea that began last year with a desire to create a safe space for pre-teens navigating the challenging transition into becoming a teenage girl.

So much is changing, there are so many embarrassing questions, and that feeling of thinking you're the only person in the world going through it.

Self-Love Club is a space for girls to learn about personal hygiene, starting their period, and how to embrace beauty both inside and out. Last year, we offered it only to 6th-grade girls, and 40 girls attended for 8 weeks! This year, we’d love to expand it to include all three grade levels.

Help us make this time special! We want to assemble toiletry bags with deodorant, makeup wipes, pads, lotions, and all the essentials to stay fresh.

Included is a photo of our girls from last year.
