Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The materials in my cart are all tools that will help me teach or help my students learn. I want to create a positive learning environment in my classroom. My students are in a self-contained special education class. The anchor charts and graphic organizers will help students recall information and demonstrate their knowledge. The moving whiteboard will allow me to circulate the room and help groups of students (through guided practice) wherever they are, and not just from the board at the front of the room. Simple tools such as pencils and charging ports are necessary to do the actual classwork. Some students prefer working by hand and some prefer to use their computers. This will allow students to complete their tasks using their preferred method.
