Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are culminating their first year of high school. Many of them have been accepted to our school's early college program because of their enthusiasm and willingness to put in the work that is required. They will be attending their first course as a student in a community college this summer.

This project will provide my students self-care products such as toothbrushes with toothpaste, face masks for skin care, sanitary pads, breakfast bars, and mints.

These will be packed and will be handed out as small token of appreciation and recognition for all that they have accomplished since September.

I am confident that this project will only keep them motivated and encouraged to pursue their goals for the rest of the year!
