My Project

Girls club was created to be a safe and positive environment to foster supportive peer and adult relationships while growing every girl to feel confident and brave and to achieve their goals!

Help empower our young girls to become confident and brave goal-setters!

Our school is for students with special needs and our population is primarily male. There are approximately 1-2 girls in every class, and the girls do not have many social opportunities to engage with other girls. The Girls Club will give our girls the opportunity to have positive social experiences with each other. We have multiple activities planned such as creating vision boards, nail painting, hairstyling, goal setting, cosmetics, face masking, and crafts. The female students chosen for girls club face hardship; economically, emotionally, and academically. Our goal is to promote confidence within each girl. These activities and experiences will help nurture character, leadership, and academic success.
