Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are Special Education elementary students with a wide range of learning and social disabilities. These classroom supplies will be used to make projects which help students learn how to advocate for themselves while learning more about their disability. Students will use the cardstock, computer paper and lamination sheets to make projects to display outside our room. Through these lessons, they learn valuable life lessons such as how to ask for help when needed, what they need in the classroom to be successful students and also to participate in their Individual Education Plan meetings. The goal of these lessons is to help my students to be leaders and to find their voice when it comes to their education. Also, Kleenex to help keep them healthy and safe at school!
