Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I'm requesting funding for hands-on aides that can support students' Social Emotional Learning (SEL) more tangibly and interactively. With your support, we can ensure that hands-on fidgets are available to students to utilize within their classrooms and common areas, such as the library, health office, or gym.
Middle schoolers are very active and through the use of hands-on aids from a stress ball to a fidget tool, they will be able to identify and express their feelings but also learn to self-advocate, becoming more aware of their emotions and recognize when it's appropriate to take a break.
