My Project

We need items to help our students with their BIG feelings. We plan to call this space the SEL (social emotional learning) Strategies Lab.

The bean bag chairs, multi-sensory/sand table, massaging chair, lamp, among the other items will help our students get back to their baseline (green zone) so that they can return to learning.

The number of students experiencing anxiety has gone up exponentially since COVID.

This space will provide respite from the rigors of the school day. Our students are kind and creative people dealing with a variety of big feelings.
