This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am new to the role as a School Counselor and I would love to be as supportive as I can to both the staff and students that I serve.

I want to be prepared to guide my students, nurture them, and be the safe person they may need at any given moment.

In order to fulfill this role to the best of my abilities, I need resources to reference.

The picture books will be used to help students make connections between themselves and the experiences of the characters.

I would love to have some fidget tools to help my students feel more comfortable sharing information with me.

The professional development books and the Teachers Pay Teachers card will be used as a reference guide and for the needs of my students in small groups.
