My Students
I teach math in a preK - 8th grade public school where the students are creative and curious. They love to learn and have great school spirit. They actively participate in school functions and are generous.
Students will be coming back to the building and creating a warm and supportive environment is important now than ever!
My Project
As teachers we are always striving to have visually engaging and empowering environments.
Kids need to know wherever they are in school that they are loved and cared for.
Bathrooms give us the privacy to reflect, and look in the mirror. Bathrooms where all students use, need to be a space where they can feel empowered. One way to show this is to transform an ordinary school bathroom into a positive space. The vinyl will be used to create positive messages on each bathroom stall. Renovating our school’s restrooms with inspirational quotes that promote positivity, kindness, and teamwork will give our students the courage to see that they have a school community behind them and that they are not alone.
