This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Please help the amazing students at our elementary school gain the resources they need to meet their learning potential. They require many hands-on materials, as well as materials to engage them through different modes of instruction. Please help these bright students reach their absolute maximum potential by donating to our class projects! Any little bit helps! Thank you in advance for your kindness and generosity, you are supporting our students to do great things!

My Project

Since COVID, many students in our school were only in person for three months of learning. Leaving them unable to interact as normal due to social distancing protocols. Many of these students have only been in a school setting for a few months each year and are lacking essential social-emotional skills they would have otherwise learned through talking and playing with their peers in a social environment. The breathing ball will be used in our social-emotional calm down corner to allow for student self-calming when feeling overwhelmed during our regular school day. The books will be used alongside activities during the year for students to work towards regulating their emotions and working on building a classroom community. Any little bit helps and we appreciate your generosity!
