Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am looking to help my students better understand and vocalize their emotions productively in class. They need tools like the emotions wheel to better state their emotions to each other. Having fidgets would help too. They need stress balls and calming strips to let them productively release their stress and anxiety, and they would benefit from flexible seating to help for the same reasons. The yoga balls would be really helpful for them to learn to regulate themselves and have decision making skills that allow them to try things out and select what works best for them based on their experiences.
