This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Research shows that students with strong social-emotional skills perform better academically. By donating to SEL classrooms, you're helping to fund resources that improve students’ focus, motivation, and ability to manage stress, which directly contributes to higher achievement in school.

SEL programs teach crucial life skills, such as empathy, problem-solving, and effective communication.

These skills are not only essential in the classroom, but also, in the workplace and personal relationships. Donating helps schools provide tools like mindfulness activities, SEL-based curricula, and group activities that foster these lifelong competencies.

In today’s world, many students face emotional and mental health challenges. SEL classrooms create safe environments where students learn to express their emotions, cope with anxiety, and build resilience. Donations can provide schools with needed resources like counseling services, therapeutic materials, and mental health workshops.

By supporting SEL, you contribute to building a positive and inclusive school culture. SEL classrooms focus on creating environments of mutual respect, kindness, and collaboration.
