My Project
With this request, I hope to enhance support for my elementary special education students in self-regulation and maintaining focus throughout the day.
Many of my students have specific break times to help them maintain focus and stamina.
They can choose tools during these times to aid in self-regulation. However, there are also instances when they become dysregulated and need an unscheduled break. Having a bin of easily accessible tools or items will help things run more smoothly. Additionally, I will employ various tools during work time to help students maintain focus and stamina.
My students need and deserve the tools I can provide to help them be successful. This is just one of the many ways I am trying to help.
