Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, every student deserves to see themselves in the books they read. Representation matters, not just with the characters they meet, but also the authors who have written them. When children see characters and authors who have similar backgrounds to their culture, language, and experiences they feel valued, understood, and inspired!

This project will provide my students with books written by diverse authors who reflect their backgrounds, traditions, and identities, These stories will not only help students connect with literature on a personal level but also help foster empathy and understanding among their peers.

With your support, we can build a classroom library filled with books that celebrate different voices and cultures. Your donation will ensure that EVERY CHILD feels SEEN, HEARD, AND ENCOURAGED to embrace their identity.
