My Project

I decided to make thank you bags for each of my students to thank them for their hard work this year in class. I also wanted to add a packet of seeds that they can plant at home in their own gardens or on the window sill. I wanted to have a large assortment of seeds for them to choose from, and whatever they don't choose we can use next school year in our garden. My students deserve a gift bag and I am happy to be able to give them one to show my appreciation for them and all they do in class.

Summer is a time of rest and rejuvenation, and that also goes for the raised beds in the garden, so the cover crop seeds will ensure the beds are not overrun with weeds and will also be used as a green manure compost when we return to school in August.

We have included a few different types of cover crop seeds so we can experiment and see which one will grow best in our raised beds.
